A water repellent single component wall coating designed to waterproof and weatherproof exterior and interior walls and structures as well as maintain thermal properties. The low thermal conductivity of Belzona 5131 (EG-Cladding) together with its low heat capacity means cold surfaces treated with the material feel warmer and vice versa.
This lightweight coating was specifically developed to combat exterior water penetration and its low carbon dioxide permeability will reduce the risk of carbonation. It can be easily applied by brush or roller without the need for specialist tools.
Key benefits:
- Excellent waterproofing and weatherproofing properties
- Enhances appearance of walls and structures
- Improves building thermal properties
- Microporous structure allows trapped moisture in the substrate to escape
- Reduces dirt retention and offers outstanding stability in aggressive environments
- Easily applied by brush or roller without the need for specialist tools
- High flexibility accommodating normal building movements
- Application and cure at room temperature – no hot work involved
- Reduced health and safety risks as it is solvent free
- Excellent adhesion to a wide range of porous and non-porous surfaces including metal, glass, tile and stone
Applications for Belzona 5131 (EG-Cladding) include:
- Waterproof and weatherproof coating for protection of interior and exterior walls
- Long-term protection of structures such as roofs, columns, tanks and pipework suffering from water penetration
- Appearance upgrade of buildings and structures
